I try to be careful when it comes to men/women of GOD. Who am I to speak ill of GOD’s anointed… but I am also instructed to to be wary of wolves in sheep’s clothing, to avoid being lukewarm, corrupt and compromising. I can’t tell others what to think of about Pastor Joel Osteen of Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas, or anyone else really. Here are some intersting video clips I’ve recently come across.

My favorite is of Pope Benedict’s random and strange circus performance at the Vatican. One of the performers brings a lion cub over to meet the pope and the poor thing gets agitated. And near the end, the pope really looks like he’s scared and/or teasing the creature. – Odd Circus Performance At Vatican

The second video is of the British nurse who was fired for allegedly offering to pray for an elderly client. The story is rather ridiculous — losing your job for offering to pray for a sick patient? She was allowed to return to work, but we’re still waiting on an apology and explanation from her company. – Supsended Praying Nurse Can Return To Work

This a rather interesting news piece from an Israeli television program (called HOT TV, I believe) in which the Jews for Jesus campaign in Israel is pretty much branded as a cult (so much of objectivity and fairness). The director of the Israeli chapter and another gentleman are interviewed after the presentation.

I thank GOD for the Christian men and women who put themselves on the frontlines to spread the Good News — Salvation in Christ Jesus alone.

Todd Friel of “Wretched” radio picks apart Saddleback Pastor Rick Warren’s prayer during President Barack Obama’s inaugural ceremony. He also takes a brief look at Mr. Obama’s reference to Scripture (which he does quite often).

Is Friel being petty and going overboard with analyzing every missed or “twisted” word/phrase?
