It’s the year 2008 and so-called ‘radical’ Muslim ‘extremists’ (yes, radical and extremist supposedly mean the same thing) are still calling for anyone who so much as utters an unfavorable opinion of their beloved false prophet Muhammad to be murdered. If Islam is a peaceful religion, why are the fanatics blowing themselves up and innocent others (their very own brothers and sisters, mind you)? If Islam is such a peaceful religion, why aren’t those of you Muslims who are nothing like these murderers DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT? They are killing hundreds of your innocent brothers and sisters EVERY YEAR.

A U.S. soldier is not killing them, it is another Muslim who thinks he’s going to ‘paradise’ by sacrificing himself and murdering women and children in the process. Muslims in America aren’t blowing themselves up in crowded markets and I surely have not heard of a U.S. Muslim man murdering one of his children for converting to another faith . So are the ‘radical’ Muslims in the Middle East practicing a cult form of Islam? There is an evil spirit permeating this so-called religion. Their doctrine and actions can only be described as wicked.

This is another one of those ‘yeah right’ articles. But, yes, it happened… and in the United Kingdom, of all places. A Muslim man feels insulted because of a Christian prayer event held during Ramadan… and the leader of the Christian group apologizes for any offense.

Excerpt:

The Muslim Education Centre of Oxford (Meco) accused Witney-based Open Doors UK of preaching “evangelical propaganda”, after the Christian group held a Call to Prayer day in Oxford yesterday.

As I’ve said before, more folks appear to be willing to believe in aliens from outer space than we are to acknowledge our LORD and SAVIOR Jesus Christ. When we Christians look up, we know in what we are hoping… but when you look up, what exactly are you expecting to see?

Someone left a rather odd comment on a post I have examining the strange works of Todd Bentley (Todd Bentley Imparts Anti-Christ Spirit). This person simply posted a verse, 1 John 4:1-2, which is about testing every spirit. Verse 2 says: “By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God;”

Based on what I saw on this commentator’s site, [UPDATE (7/26/08) I removed the link to the site. I don't promote demonology] he is an advocate of Todd Bentley and his strange works. This Holy Bible passage, he assumes, is supposed to clear Bentley of any wrongdoing (i.e., behaving contrary to the Holy Spirit of GOD) — who we are to assume has never denied Jesus is Christ and King… so that’s supposed to mean he’s a sheep and not a goat…or a charlatan.

First off, I do not know if this brother (assuming the commentator is only misguided / ignorant and not willfully neglecting the voice of GOD) has any evidence of Todd Bentley confessing that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. Not that such evidence would bare much weight by itself considering all the abundance of documentation showing quite clearly and plainly that Todd Bentley is not working in the light of Jesus Christ, but in the darkness of Satan. How does a ‘religious’ leader resemble a humble servant when he exalts himself above the flock? They call him ‘holy father’ and line up to kneel before him and kiss the ring on his finger. — Who would need all of that attention and exalt himself like that? “For you have said in your heart: ‘ I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God…”

Matthew 23:5-12 (NKJV)

5 But all their works they do to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries broad and enlarge the borders of their garments.

6 They love the best places at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues,

7 greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called by men, ‘Rabbi, Rabbi.’

8 But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren.

9 Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven.
