‘Is Barack Obama Satan’s Warm-Up Act’ Turns Into Debate On Rapture

By LaVrai, 13 March, 2009, 2 Comments

rapture1992Fellow Christian blogger Miriam has a post on her site titled “Is Barack Obama Satan’s Warm-Up Act?” which takes a look at how “Left Behind” creator Tim LaHaye voiced his opinion on this question. Not surprisingly, most of the reader comments are focused on the timing of the “rapture,” when the Saints are removed from the earth and join Jesus the Christ.

I have written about this subject so many times, but it always resurfaces. Who wants to believe they will have to try and live under Satan’s evil, psychotic rule on earth? Anyway, here is my response to Miriam’s post… and my response of course grew in length to become this blog post:

I love how reaction to a post on President Barack Obama allegedly being the pre-cursor to the anti-Christ turns into a debate on the snatching away of Christ Jesus’ Bride, the Church.

Biblical Proof That The Rapture Is In Fact True, And Not A Myth Or A Lie From The Devil

By LaVrai, 4 November, 2008, 11 Comments

Are we really to assume that when we are changed in the twinkling of an eye and become like the angels...that our clothes will get "left behind?"

I came across a video post recently on a professing Christian’s blog — I use “professing” because I recently discovered the blog…we don’t share any history; Although I have yet to read any evidence to the contrary. The video was about the rapture and the blogger implores readers to believe that the rapture is real. The post also listed two Holy Bible passages, 1 Thessalonians 4:15-171 Thessalonians 4:15-17
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. prevent: or, come before, or, anticipate, or, precede 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

and Philippians 3:20-21Philippians 3:20-21
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: conversation...: or, we live or conduct ourselves as citizens of heaven, or, for obtaining heaven 21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

, which will be addressed later in this post. The comments on this blogger’s video post ranged from encouragement and agreement to others explaining to the blogger how wrong she is and even ridicule for believing the rapture.

My whole purpose with writing this post was to challenge myself — to seek the truth as the LORD Jesus Christ presents it in HIS Holy Scriptures to make sure I myself am not being deceived by well-wishers and rapture-hopefuls. What I have found is rock-solid — there is a rapture. The Holy Bible is clear on that. The Holy Scriptures are also very clear on when it isn’t.

If you aren’t sure about what to believe about the rapture and the Tribulation period, then I beg you to open your Holy Bible, Strong’s concordance and Webster’s dictionary and read along and check all that I say and the passages which I reference. And, as I do before delving into the LORD’s business, perhaps you should breathe a prayer for the Holy Spirit’s guidance.

Remember, these are not my words — these are the words of the LORD our GOD. If you are unsure about anything in your walk with Jesus Christ of Nazareth, take it to HIM in prayer.

Jesus Christ On Rapture, End Times & Tribulation

By LaVrai, 8 June, 2008, 3 Comments

I am not looking to insult or anger anyone with this post. My aim is only to have readers seriously consider the possibility that the so-called rapture is not an escape route for ‘true’ Christians during end time tribulations. Based on what Christ Jesus told HIS disciples in the book of Matthew chapter 24, there is no rapture before Messiah returns to earth. I am well aware that there are numerous other related prophecies concerning the return of Christ Jesus, but I pay particular attention to this passage because the instructions, guidance and information comes straight from the horse’s mouth, if you will. Yes, I know the entire Holy Bible is authored by the Holy Spirit, and I mean HIM no disrespect. But we cannot discount the importance of Christ Jesus’ words given directly to the disciples (which include the entire Church, the full body of which has not yet been gathered).

Must Read: ‘Disaster Plan For Antichrist’

By LaVrai, 7 May, 2008, 2 Comments

I came across this on a Web site I visit frequently (TOH) and cannot argue with the words, but I know many others will try very hard and perhaps even totally miss the point. It’s from a Web site that describes itself as a post-tribulation site and declares that ‘Jesus will return after the 70th week of Daniel.’ I don’t know about that particular part, but the message is on point and I am still going through the Web site myself, so be forewarned.

Video: Cause Of Great ‘Falling Away’

I’d like to say that I don’t understand why Christians believe they will be raptured into heaven before the tribulation, but I do know why – the tribulation period is going to be HELL! (run time 24:33e 24:33
