I was not surprised to see this item, but still very much disappointed that such a high-profile man calls himself a Christian but yet does not know the LORD our GOD. His viewpoints are not new, either, he’s said many “interesting” things before concerning his faith… including seeing GOD in Pope Benedict XVI’s eyes. … Perhaps if he weren’t so busy bowing to the pope and fighting to kiss his ring, he would have more time to learn about the ONE TRUE GOD — LORD and SAVIOR Jesus Christ.

Just a couple of reminders here: this is the same president who not only saw Vladimir Putin’s “soul” when he looked into his eyes, but also says he “sees GOD” when he looks into Pope Benedict XVI’s eyes; even though he says he believes people of different faiths pray to the same GOD, he also says there are many paths to heaven (why would one GOD convolute things?); and he’s always been very articulate about expressing his faith.

Interviewer Cynthia McFadden asked Bush if the Bible was literally true.

“You know. Probably not.

Scary Talk: Bush To Attend Conference On Uniting World Religions

By LaVrai, 1 November, 2008, No Comment

The news story doesn’t say explicitly to “unite world religions” but, if you’ve been paying attention recently to current events and read your Holy Bible regularly, you may be able to see that this is where all of these inter-faith conferences are headed. “They” are already actively having their meetings on uniting the world’s economies due to this sudden and totally unexpected global market crisis. Keep praying.

Excerpt:

President Bush will join several other world leaders at a General Assembly meeting to promote a global dialogue about religions, cultures and common values, U.N. and U.S. officials said Friday.

The meeting is a follow-up to an interfaith conference in Madrid organized by King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia and King Juan Carlos of Spain in July which brought together Jews, Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists and representatives of other religions and sparked hopes of a new relationship among religions. Pope To Host Bush In ‘Unusual Setting’

By LaVrai, 9 June, 2008, No Comment

On one hand, I am tempted to think this a non-story, but it really does beg the question: why does Pope Benedict choose this medieval tower in which to play host to President Bush? What can they do in this restored tower that they cannot do in his usual offices?

Video: Bush Sees GOD In Pope’s Eyes

By LaVrai, 16 May, 2008, No Comment

President Bush once claimed that when he looked into former Russian President Vladimir Putin’s eyes he could see his soul. During Pope Benedict XVI’s visit to the U.S., Mr. Bush was interviewed by Eternal World Television Network, Global Catholic Network (queer name, no?) and asked what he sees when he looks into Benedict’s eyes. It’s the final question in the 1:49he 1:49

Video: Bush: ‘Many Paths’ To Heaven

By LaVrai, 7 May, 2008, No Comment

I stopped believing President George W. Bush was a Christian a long time ago, but it appears some people may still think he adheres to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Holy Bible says in very many places that Christ Jesus is the only way to salvation. He is the only one who makes intercession for us before the FATHER, GOD ALMIGHTY (scripture).

“As we pray for God’s continued blessings on our country, I think it makes sense to hope that one day there may be an International Day of Prayer,” Bush said during his eighth and final appearance at the (National Day Of Prayer) ceremony (Details).
