Rewind: Catholic Church Calls GOD A Liar

This is an old article, from 2005, in which: THE hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church has published a teaching document instructing the faithful that some parts of the Bible are not actually true…

If one denies that the Bible is the Word of GOD, then one is denying GOD ALMIGHTY, too. You cannot pick and choose which parts of the Bible you’re going to stick with because other parts of it make you uncomfortable. And to think, the Catholic Church is still trying to “edit” the Bible and have people believe in lies. These ridiculous people running the Roman Catholic Church (a Babylonian harlot, by the way) want people to stop believing the account of creation in Genesis and the account in Revelation dealing with the rise of the anti-Christ and Satan’s final destruction. How convenient — both the beginning and the end. Read the rest of this entry »

GOD Is Not A Man, So Who Is Jesus?

I have heard the argument: GOD is not a man, i.e., human, so how can Jesus even claim to be GOD or even the Son of GOD?

Or, how about: GOD is Spirit, so all of those verses referring to HIS arm or face, or about HIM walking in the Garden of Eden, for example, are all allegorical.

If one truly examines the verses in the Bible that speak of GOD specifically, one can see quite clearly that some of these are misconceptions. Read the rest of this entry »

Who Twists Isaiah 53 – Jews Or Christians?

I’ve been reading through the book of Isaiah very carefully, trying to read it from a casual, non-Christian perspective…and it was working out great until I got to Isaiah 53. Now, I’ve read in places that say Christians like to twist and misinterpret this chapter to serve their own views that Jesus is the Messiah. Outreach Judaism, for example, is one of these places. It is a great resource and the gentleman who answers the questions (Rabbi Tovia Singer) does a very great job of responding to readers’ questions. This is his primary response to someone asking about Jesus in relation to one of Isaiah 53′s verses, which I think is a load of bologna: Read the rest of this entry »

What Jews Believe: One Cannot Die For The Sins Of Another

I have been trying to understand why it is exactly that those who practice Judaism refuse to consider that the Messiah has come already in the person of Jesus, the Son of GOD born to Mary.

I punched in the phrase “what Jews believe” on Google and the first response was from a Web site of that very same name, WhatJewsBelieve.org. The site lists 9 reasons, plus one on the ‘Jewish roots’ of Christianity. The first item listed of what Jews believe is ‘one person cannot die for the sins of another.’ Here is their short explanation: Read the rest of this entry »

Will You Give In, Or Hold On To Christ Jesus?

I have been in such a situation many times:

Hanging out with friends/associates who do not believe as I do about the state of the world and its creator, GOD Almighty. A few of them may be ‘spiritual’ (whatever that means), some may think there is a god, but could really care less, and others say there is no such thing and that religion is a crutch for weak people. Now, I, apparently being the only Christian in the group, am faced with a decision – Do I boldly declare that I am a Christian or do I keep quiet and let them rage on in their cursing and criticism of and ignorance about Jesus the Christ?
