The Word of the LORD Jesus Christ - one false prophet is removed, but how many others will rise in his place? The strong delusion is indeed being poured out.

Notice the order in which Christ Jesus lists these occurances.

Matthew 24:

The Signs of the Times and the End of the Age
(Mark 13:3-13; Luke 21:17-19)

3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?

4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. [How many false christs have you read about? And have you taken notice of their large number of followers? Have you noticed that none of them seem to have a problem with each other or that there are other men claiming to be Jesus?]

6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. [We are currently in a war, and I am not speaking of Iraq or Afghanistan. I am speaking of the one Russia started on Aug. 8, 2008, in which they invaded a country 'backed' by the U.S. -- Have you noticed how irrational whomever is leading Russia is behaving (whether it be Vladimir Putin or Dmitry Medvedev)? Gog's leader says 'Yes, a truce' and then in fact compounds his divisive actions. It will get worse].

And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. [Shall I recount for you how many earthquakes we've had this year across the globe, and how many hundreds of thousands of lives were lost in but a few minutes? -- Do I need to point how people in countries like Haiti, North Korea and others are starving to the point where people are eating mud (Haiti)? -- If that isn't a famine, I'm not sure what is. -- As for pestilences, sure, we can start with HIV/AIDS, but what of the countless diseases we have cures/vaccines for stockpiled and not in use in nations around the world... that are killing babies literally every minute (if not second) across the continent of Africa.] [Keep reading...]

I feel I should clarify — I’m using ‘bloody’ as it means and not as a swear word.

Thanks to this site I randomly came across (JewSchool, as seen in the screenshot below), I found out that Jews in America are still finding ways to carry out animal sacrifices… in which the animals are ’stand-ins’ and take on their sins.

Christians know that Jesus’ crucifixion was the last and final sacrifice GOD required for mankind’s sins — HIS Only Begotten Son was The Spotless Lamb, the only One without sin — the only One who was worthy to even be counted as a sacrifice (and not only was Jesus the Spotless Sacrifice, HE is also the High Priest). The LORD GOD ALMIGHTY no longer requires such offerings, as the Psalmist writes, but requires true repentance.

Psalm 40:6Sacrifice and offering You did not desire; My ears You have opened. Burnt offering and sin offering You did not require. 7Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book [it is] written of me (Jesus the Christ)

Psalm 51:16For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering. 17The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart– These, O God, You will not despise.

Here is practical reason why animal sacrifices are no longer relevant: [Keep reading...]

My mother often says, ‘No one goes into Israel (to do harm) unless GOD sends them.’ And, to be quite honest, that does appear to be the case. There are countless examples in the Old Testament of the Holy Bible in which GOD ALMIGHTY used ‘the nations’ to come against the people of Israel because of their disobedience. And there are countless examples where the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY dispels and destroys other nations that tried to come against HIS Beloved Israel. So it was then, so it is now.

Anyway, my point is — an article I just read concerning Russia (Gog/Magog) and Israel’s enemies in prophecy (specifically Iran) mentioned that Psalm 83 precedes the great and final conflict that’s called Armageddon. As I read Psalm 83… I could only think of one man and one nation (who will have no problem finding ‘allies’ when the time comes, and indeed, has them already). And, I thought this was in the Holy Bible, but I can’t even think of where to find it — that Israel is a nation surrounded on all sides by enemies. That is the case today, isn’t it — none of Israel’s neighbors, which are all Arab nations (I believe) love her… and all they need is one reason.

Psalm 83 - Prayer to Frustrate Conspiracy Against Israel (A Song. A Psalm of Asaph.)

1 Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, And do not be still, O God! 2 For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; And those who hate You have lifted up their head. 3 They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, And consulted together against Your sheltered ones. 4 They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” [Keep reading...]

My church just got a baptismal pool installed behind (or at the very back of) the pulpit. The pastor and elders made sure to dedicate and consecrate it during service. A passage was read (from that book church leaders use for special occasions involving church creed) concerning the reason for baptism and how it symbolizes one dying to their old sinful self to be reborn or renewed as a new being in Christ Jesus.

Seeing this Washington Post article on United House of Prayer for All People’s public, street baptism in which a fire hose is used to drench a mass of people made me wonder… the LORD told HIS disciples: “19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20) [Keep reading...]

I’m coming back to the heart of worship / And it’s all about you, it’s all about YOU, Jesus.

I’m sorry, LORD, for the thing I’ve made it / When it’s all about YOU, it’s all about YOU, Jesus…

This is the hook to a praise song by Michael W. Smith (I believe), but I’ve heard it sung many times by various artists (like John Tesh, for example). The bottom line is, this song is very relevant considering what I have been noticing on other blogs of late.

There seems to be a common complaint about ’seeker-sensitive’ churches which water down the Gospel of Salvation through Jesus Christ or totally take it out of its context and make it carnal, to appeal to the flesh, instead of to the Spirit. The complaints as of recent that I’ve noticed focus on the so-called ‘praise and worship’ songs some of these churches sing. There are horrid examples out there, but the worst ones involve the church actually singing a worldly song (not a hymn or gospel song) and just switching out a word/ name for the name of Jesus. One example I saw didn’t even go that far — the worship leader just sung the song (from a popular TV show that has nothing to do with Salvation through Jesus Christ) straight…as you’d hear it on MTV.

How do songs like that fit into the Church? [Keep reading...]

Are you familiar with the Parable of the Sower Jesus Christ told to HIS disciples? In it the LORD compares the Gospel to a seed, the sower to the preacher/teacher of the Gospel and the ground on which the seed falls is compared to those who hear the Word.

The Christian walk can be a very difficult road — as it should be since we are not of this world. Christians face temptations daily, as well as rejection and ridicule for having the nerve to believe that GOD is real and that HIS name is I AM WHO I AM. Many of us across the world are killed for professing faith in Jesus Christ as Savior. We go to work with unrepentant sinners, Christian teens/kids are hammered every day at school with all kinds of worldly junk and what’s worse — many of us Christians just can’t get along with each other.

I just want to ask you, brothers and sisters, is the ground on which the seed fell still fertile? Or has your heart been hardened to the point of callousness? Do you still have that first love you did when you fell in love with Jesus? Or have you been ’sitting’ on your faith and saying ‘Oh well’ for the rest of the world? Please re-read the Parable of the Sower and make sure you are good ground. [Keep reading...]

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16, NKJV)

Let us never forget the priceless gift given to us by Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of GOD, whom HE sent into the world to die for us, so that we may live.

In your moments of weaknesses (during and after temptation), think on Christ Jesus and what HE has done for you. And remember what HE asks us to do — pick up our cross and follow HIM. There is no one or anything more important than Jesus Christ the Eternal King, no one or anything worth putting down that cross for. So when you sin, repent quickly… and when you are tempted to sin… repent even faster. And do not think because you are saved and indeed follow Christ that you are perfected already; we all need to repent everyday. We must also be mindful of what we are repenting. Vain, empty words GOD ALMIGHTY takes no pleasure in… HE already knows our hearts and minds. Let us walk so as not to disappoint our FATHER in Heaven nor disgrace the sacrifice HE has made for us.
