By now, many know that Oprah Winfrey believes that ‘Jesus can’t be the only way,’ that is, she believes there is more than one way to get to heaven…but Ms. Winfrey still claims she is a Christian. Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama also believes there is more than one way to heaven… although he too claims he is a Christian.

According to Oprah Winfrey’s spokesperson (as revealed in a July 2008 article): “Oprah was raised Baptist and has stated many, many times that she is a Christian and that she believes in only one God,” said the spokesman, who asked not to be named. “She has also said, ‘I’m a free-thinking Christian who believes in my way, but I don’t believe it’s the only way, with 6 billion people on the planet.’” [More on Oprah Winfrey in her own words here...]

As Barack Obama said in an April 2004 article: “I’m rooted in the Christian tradition. I believe that there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people. That there are values that transcend race or culture, that move us forward, and there’s an obligation for all of us individually as well as collectively to take responsibility to make those values lived.”

It’s perhaps an unlikely theological position for someone who places his faith squarely at the feet of Jesus to take, saying essentially that all people of faith — Christians, Jews, Muslims, animists, everyone — know the same God. That depends, Obama says, on how a particular verse from the Gospel of John, where Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth and the life. There are some very confused, mixed-up folks out there calling themselves Christians and even professing that they believe in the ONE TRUE GOD, but in the same breath deny HIS Only Begotten Son…therefore denying the ONE TRUE GOD as well. Read the rest of this entry »

I am not referring to those dumb e-mail chains insinuating the Democratic Presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois is a Muslim who wants to destroy America (and now the e-mails are insinuating that he just may be the Anti-Christ… he is obviously a anti-Christ, but not the major one).

On From The Lighthouse’s blog, there is a review of the new book “The Faith of Barack Obama” by Stephen Mansfield. It is apparently a favorable writing of Mr. Obama, but what Obama reveals about himself is even more frightening than what he has already said about his loose-stance on Christianity. I had read on some blogs — when Obama was catching heat over the Rev. Jeremiah Wright — about what Obama’s church really practices, but most of the information was about their pro-Africa stance… not that these folks are into yoga… among other things. Yikes!

Mansfield, says: “If a man’s faith is sincere, it is the most important thing about him, and it is impossible to understand who he is and how he will lead without first understanding the religious vision that informs his life.”

This is an interesting story, with an interesting quote, claiming that somehow Muslims and Christians worship the same GOD. Does the GOD of the Holy Scriptures call for the killing of the Jews as a whole/nation…and somehow would supplant HIS calling on them for that of another people? Nevermind all whom believe that Jesus the Christ is LORD, the LORD has special favor on Israel and its people. Doesn’t the Quran claim otherwise…and claims that Muhammad is the greatest prophet, and that somehow father Abraham got it wrong? What could that possibly have to do with the Judeo-Christian faith?

So… I guess the imam prayed in the name of Jesus, right, to show favor to his guest? [Have you noticed that at these all-inclusive affairs, it's always the so-called Christians making concessions and bending over backwards for those who reject Jesus Christ?]

There is only one GOD and HIS name is LORD, and He came to earth in the form of HIS Only Begotten Son Christ Jesus. Those who practice Judaism use the same Bible that Christians use… even if the so-called rabbis want to twist and overlook the prophecies to deny the One who fulfills them has come already…HIS name is Jesus.

What do I, as a Christian, have in common with the Quran? That speaks of a god I do not know and that most certainly does not sit on the Throne in heaven.

No wonder this was done on the down low, as the kiddies say. Blending and blending until the whole thing is diluted. Christ Jesus asked perfectly in Luke 18:8: “…Nevertheless, when the SON OF MAN comes, will HE really find faith on the earth?”

Watch out, France. Apparently this false ecunemism is creeping is indeed spreading…

It’s the year 2008 and so-called ‘radical’ Muslim ‘extremists’ (yes, radical and extremist supposedly mean the same thing) are still calling for anyone who so much as utters an unfavorable opinion of their beloved false prophet Muhammad to be murdered. If Islam is a peaceful religion, why are the fanatics blowing themselves up and innocent others (their very own brothers and sisters, mind you)? If Islam is such a peaceful religion, why aren’t those of you Muslims who are nothing like these murderers DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT? They are killing hundreds of your innocent brothers and sisters EVERY YEAR.

A U.S. soldier is not killing them, it is another Muslim who thinks he’s going to ‘paradise’ by sacrificing himself and murdering women and children in the process. Muslims in America aren’t blowing themselves up in crowded markets and I surely have not heard of a U.S. Muslim man murdering one of his children for converting to another faith . So are the ‘radical’ Muslims in the Middle East practicing a cult form of Islam? There is an evil spirit permeating this so-called religion. Their doctrine and actions can only be described as wicked.
