OK. The “beast” part is mine. Mr. Robertson actually said socialism — in his predictions for 2009 (which I would take with a grain or two or three of salt). Why I point out this particular story is because, Mr. Robertson unwittingly (as the high priest Caiaphas predicted that Jesus would die for the people) is prophesying how and why Americans will embrace the beast economic system. This “turnaround” Mr. Robertson predicts will be that false assurance of peace. All of this leaves me questioning… does no one see it coming? I guess Mr. Robertson is too busy being “remarkably pleased” with Obama.

Yes, this is a joke but, uh, it’s hardly funny. I find it more disturbing than anything. A reporter decided to do Obama’s rise to fame like a Biblical telling, in the vein of Moses and Jesus’ lives. Shockingly, this video and/or story was posted on July 25, 2008. I don’t know how I missed it then.

Pastor Rick Warren of Saddleback Church sure has the nation in a tizzy… and the fuss is about nothing really. In case you’re totally clueless, Warren, “America’s Pastor” (according to the silly mainstream media) was chosen by President-elect Barack Obama to do the invocation at his Jan. 20 inauguration ceremony in D.C. They gays are supposedly furious because Warren supports Proposition 8 and is, therefore, totally against gay “marriage” and has compared homosexuality to incest and pedophilia. In my previous post, I noted that the gentleman doing the benediction, The Rev. Joseph Lowery, a United Methodist. Lowery told the Washington Blade (a gay publication) on Dec. 22, 2008: “I am strongly opposed to propositions or amendments that put into law any discrimination against citizens because of sexual orientation.” However, Lowery supports civil unions for gays.

I learned two things today — one of them is true and the other a lie; the one that is true explains how the second is a lie.

1. The Truth:

Martha Samuel, an Egyptian Muslim who converted to Christianity five years ago, was arrested at Cairo airport on Wednesday as she, her husband and two sons (four and two years old) were leaving for Russia. Her name was on a list of people prohibited from leaving the country.

According to a story by the Assyrian International News Agency (AINA), the Egypt for Christ Ministry is reporting that Martha Samuel has been sexually assaulted by Egyptian police officers at El-Nozha police station as well as at the National Security office in Heliopolis.

AINA said Samuel has also been beaten and tortured in an attempt to force her to return to Islam. The police have promised to release her if she returns to Islam.

AINA said that Samuel (and her children, who are also under arrest), is to be transferred from the National Security office in Heliopolis to Al-Qanater prison after seeing the “renewal judge.”

AINA said the children are “deliberately” not being provided with food in order to pressure their mother to return to Islam. Fadl Thabet, Martha’s husband, has been taken to the National Security office in Alexandria (Somoha District). Read the rest of this entry »

I guess this is what happens when you read about this self-proclaimed false prophet’s coming out party and a titillating article about his possible connection to Pastor Rick Warren and then some serious background info on this demon.

I am speaking about this Maitreya character, a very real unclean spirit and his enslaved followers (self-delusion and the avid eating of “unclean food” will do that). I first heard about this deceptive spirit some months ago in Warren Smith’s “Reinventing Jesus Christ” (a free read). This character supposedly appeared in public knowingly in Africa somewhere a couple decades ago — so his people claim. Anyway, according to this weird press release published in the formerly respectable WSJ, he is about to make another public emergence, in a TV interview of all things on a high-profile network. The thing is, though, he will be presented by a different name (the deception might not work otherwise) and he thinks he’s GOD’s gift to the planet — and he thinks he’s GOD, too (sounds like Lucifer in Isaiah 14:12-21, doesn’t it?)

This demonic spirit, under the guise of peace by any means necessary (“share or die,” he apparently has said) wants to present himself as “the one we have all been waiting for” to folks of every religion… and (if it even makes any sense) to those who quote unquote don’t do religion. But getting unbelievers to believe won’t be a problem, because this unclean spirit is all-inclusive — he supposedly doesn’t want you to worship him (although he’s presenting himself as a christ and GOD).
