We Must Judge Or Risk Being Counted As Guilty With The Offenders

By LaVrai, 21 January, 2010, 4 Comments

I was reading through 1 Corinthians today and came across a startling passage… and it is partly startling because I had just visited some of my bookmarked blogs to see what those professing faith in Christ are up to. One of the last blogs I read shared a letter from a reader who was apparently concerned about the idea of Christians judging other Christians. There is a persistent argument among believers (and non-believers, too) that Christians are not supposed to judge others… because Jesus Christ said something to that affect in Matthew 7 — “Do not judge, lest you be judged by the same standard.” Some people trumpet this verse without putting the entire passage in context and studying what Jesus Christ was trying to teach against — hypocrisy. If you read Romans 2, you will see how Paul expounds upon Jesus’ words even further in warning against hypocrites judging others.

Romans 2:1Romans 2:1
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

2 1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. 2 But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things. 3 And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?

GOD teaches HIS children through the Holy Scriptures that we must indeed be properly equipped and wise in discernment, another term for judgment. We must be able to judge ourselves rightly (i.e., whether our thoughts, deeds and words line up with the holy standards GOD requires of us) and we must be able to judge whether the thoughts, deeds and words of our brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus also line up with GOD’s holy standards. If GOD makes us witness to a brother or sister’s failings, we are required to go to that brother and sister and discuss this error, whether it be against us personally or against GOD (and indeed, sinning against a brother or sister is also an offense to the FATHER).

Jesus tells us in Matthew 18:15Matthew 18:15
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

WP-Bible plugin
“Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. 16 But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’ 17 And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector. …”

We are instructed to confront one another peacefully and in love when we are in error, and if the party in error refuses to realize his/her wrong, then others should get involved to lend support to the argument against the party in error. If then, the person in error still refuses to heed sound reason, then the church is called on to get involved… and if the person in error still refuses to repent, then he/she must be put out of the assembly and have no part with the church.

Sin Like Hell And Repent By May 20, 2011… 11:59PM?

By LaVrai, 15 May, 2009, 16 Comments

I hope the title of this post expresses the foolishness inherent with such non-Biblical claims as the following.

(Source: ebiblefellowship)

(Source: ebiblefellowship)

Matthew 24:36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.

37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

40 Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. 42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. 43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

Anyone teaching doctrine that contradicts the Word of the LIVING GOD is either a liar or deceived.

For reference, here’s the original Greek term used for “hour,” as mentioned four times by our LORD and SAVIOR Jesus Christ:

Strong’s Number: 5610

Original Word: w&ra

Word Origin: apparently a primary word

Transliterated Word: Hora

Phonetic Spelling: ho’-rah

Parts of Speech: Noun Feminine

Definition:

1. a certain definite time or season fixed by natural law and returning with the revolving year
1. of the seasons of the year, spring, summer, autumn, winter
2. the daytime (bounded by the rising and setting of the sun), a day
3. a twelfth part of the day-time, an hour, (the twelve hours of the day are reckoned from the rising to the setting of the sun)
4. any definite time, point of time, moment

End Times Alert: New TV Commercial For Anti-Christ Maitreya Airs On Major Networks

By LaVrai, 25 February, 2009, 1 Comment

Have you seen the star that’s supposed to be shining day and night, heralding the coming of another anti-Christ? But this Maitreya demon isn’t just another false messiah, for this unclean spirit is outing itself at a time when the world seems ripe for such delusion. The president the world adores gives the impression that there is more than one way to be saved, while Christians will tell you that Salvation is in Jesus the Christ of Nazareth alone (as the infallible Word of GOD explains). “America’s pastor” Rick Warren of Saddleback Church gives the impression that Christians can cast aside their faith and the teachings of our ETERNAL LORD and KING Jesus the Christ for the sake of working together to end poverty (although the LORD our GOD says in the Old and New Testaments that the poor will be with us always).

Saddleback Pastor Rick Warren Doesn’t Appear To Serve The ONE TRUE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY

By LaVrai, 18 January, 2009, No Comment

In a previous post, I highlighted a video (audio really) from an April 2005 event Saddleback Pastor Rick Warren held for his congregation. In the video, Mr. Warren calls on Christians to be as dedicated to Christ (presumably, he’s talking about Christ) as Nazi youth were to Hitler. Yes, the same Hitler, who undoubtedly served Satan. The same Hitler who killed millions of people because they were Jews (just like Satan has ALWAYS targeted the Jews, as he still does to this day) — this is the standard Warren holds up in the video. He also champions Mao’s ability to capture the Chinese youth’s fanatical dedication. If only Christians could get that crazed, Warren essentially waxes, there would be nothing in our way of conquering the globe and eradicating poverty and shoving peace down everyone’s throat (nevermind that Christ Jesus says there will be wars and rumors of wars; that the poor will be with us always; and that HE is the true PRINCE OF PEACE).

Here’s the video again. And also this link to a prophecy a sister published on her site on March 20, 2008h 20, 2008
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

Izbrano poglavje ne obstaja!

. In addition, there is also an article excerpt which reveals Warren’s real drive and purpose in all of the work he’s doing. It all begs the obvious question: does Saddleback Pastor Rick Warren serve Jesus the Christ or does Warren serve the ruler of this world, Satan?

Anyway, this one particular article echoes the prophecy:

“During his Anaheim stadium speech Warren, sometimes called ‘pastor Rick’ talked about a number of visions and communications he had received from God. By calling on his church members to follow Jesus with the fanatical dedication with which the Nazis, or Hitler Youth, gave to Adolf Hitler, Rick Warren appeared to be in effect asking his Saddleback members to be fanatically dedicated to Warren’s own leadership, given his role in divining God’s intent for the Saddleback church flock. During his speech, Rick Warren also explained that God had personally instructed him to seek, for the good of the world, more influence, power and fame.”

…During his Anaheim speech, Warren revealed that he’d received a message from God to seek more influence, power and fame. God, Warren narrated, led him to Psalm 72, “Solomon’s prayer for more influence… in Psalm 72 [Solomon] says ‘God, I want you to make me more influential. God, I want you to give me more power. I want you to bless my life more. God, I want you to spread the fame of my name through other countries.’”

“It sounded pretty selfish,” mused Warren but, as he explained to the crowd, God had led him on a path towards solving the five biggest global problems.

Beyond ’spiritual poverty’, egocentric leadership is the next most oppressive ‘global giant’, according to Rick Warren, and thus a higher priority than HIV/AIDS, poverty, and other material afflictions. “The world is full of little Saddams,” he observed, “they’re in every country, they’re in every church, they’re in every business, they’re in every homeowner’s association. They’re everywhere. You give a guy a little power and it goes to his head. “

Besides sounding like a fanatical cult leader (um, like Hitler and Mao), Warren lies (or is mistaken?) about the Scripture. Please read Psalm 72. Solomon is not asking anything for himself. HE is declaring, through inspiration of GOD’s Holy Spirit, the divine rule of the KING of KINGS and LORD of LORDs Christ Jesus: 8 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, And from the River to the ends of the earth. 9 Those who dwell in the wilderness will bow before Him, And His enemies will lick the dust. 10 The kings of Tarshish and of the isles Will bring presents; The kings of Sheba and Seba Will offer gifts. 11 Yes, all kings shall fall down before Him; All nations shall serve Him.

Please tell me where in the Holy Bible the LORD our GOD encourages HIS people to seek power and fame? Not even Christ Jesus came into the world as HE IS — the KING of KINGS and LORD of LORDS. And doesn’t Christ Jesus say seek ye first the Kingdom and all of these things (our needs and desires) will be added to us by the LORD our GOD? But who encourages mankind always to seek such worldly things?

Matthew 4:8Matthew 4:8
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

WP-Bible plugin
Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.” 10 Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.’”

The Devil sure is very busy nowadays, but I thank the LORD our GOD that we are not all deceived and seeking after things that have NOTHING to do with the Great Commission — telling the world about Salvation in Jesus Christ. Has anyone found how that fits into Warren’s P.E.A.C.E. Plan?

What A Surprise: Gay ‘Bishop’ To Avoid Being ‘Especially Christian’ At Obama Inauguration Prayer

By LaVrai, 13 January, 2009, 5 Comments

pulling-out-hairIs this what happens when one begins to tell GOD HE’s a liar or that HE’s mistaken (homosexuality surely can’t be a sin!)…? You start using the Holy Bible as a showpiece?

I was hoping the fake Rick Warren storm would be over by now… you know about the Saddleback pastor doing the invocation at President-elect Barack Obama’s inauguration on Jan. 20. I guess since Mr. Obama got the gays all crazy over his “narrow minded, anti-gay marriage” pick, Warren (oh the irony), someone in his camp thought it would be a good idea to pander to the gays by choosing a gay “bishop” to offer a prayer at the Lincoln Memorial: New Hampshire Episcopal Bishop Vicki Gene Robinson.

I wonder if the gays are happy. I know someone must be… Robinson won’t even be using the Holy Bible nor will he be praying an “especially Christian” prayer, according to this Christian Post article below. My goodness. To whom will he be praying then? There is only ONE GOD and HIS name is LORD, Christ Jesus of Nazareth.

In case you’ve been wondering how one can be gay and a Christian at the same time… consider how one can be a Christian and not use the Holy Bible nor address your prayers to GOD the CREATOR in the name of Jesus the Christ — just use the term “Christian” as your cover while you run around like an unrepentant heathen.

Excerpt:

Robinson, 61, said both Obama and vice president-elect Joe Biden will attend the event, and Obama is expected to speak. As for himself, Robinson said he doesn’t yet know what he’ll say, but he knows he won’t use a Bible.

“While that is a holy and sacred text to me, it is not for many Americans,” Robinson said. “I will be careful not to be especially Christian in my prayer. This is a prayer for the whole nation.”

Robinson said his prayer will be reflective of the times. “I think these are sober and difficult times that we are facing,” he said. “It won’t be a happy, clappy prayer.” (Read the full article here…)

I don’t get it… it’s “a prayer for the whole nation” like it’s that serious, so… he’s going to babble off some meaningless drivel to the wind…? (Sigh…)

And Mr. Robinson explained to the New York Times exactly what he thinks of the Holy Scriptures and all that junk:

Bishop Robinson said he had been reading inaugural prayers through history and was “horrified” at how “specifically and aggressively Christian they were.”

“I am very clear,” he said, “that this will not be a Christian prayer, and I won’t be quoting Scripture or anything like that. The texts that I hold as sacred are not sacred texts for all Americans, and I want all people to feel that this is their prayer.”

Bishop Robinson said he might address the prayer to “the God of our many understandings,” language that he said he learned from the 12-step program he attended for his alcohol addiction.

Bishop Robinson said that his partner of more than 20 years, Mark Andrew, would accept the Obama team’s invitation to join him in attending several inaugural events. The two had a civil union ceremony last summer in a New Hampshire church.

Mr. Vicki Gene Robinson does not know the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY else HE would fear HIM and turn from his sinful ways.

While we still have breath, we have time to repent. The Bible is not silent on GOD’s decree on homosexuality. Some of us just choose not to hear what HE says.

Mr. Robinson, that collar won’t mean a thing in a little while (as your Holy Bible apparently doesn’t mean a thing now)…

Matthew 7:22Matthew 7:22
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

WP-Bible plugin
Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Hello… is this thing on?
