This year the ridiculous theme of “The equal sharing of responsibilities between women and men, including caregiving in the context of HIV/AIDS” has been adopted. That headline is what the Miami Herald had verbatim except I plugged in “butcher” in place of doctor. Badly botched? This was a flagrant murder… if things happened as this young woman says it happened.

Excerpt:

Eighteen and pregnant, Sycloria Williams went to an abortion clinic outside Miami and paid $1,200 for Dr. Pierre Jean-Jacque Renelique to terminate her 23-week pregnancy.

Three days later, she sat in a reclining chair, medicated to dilate her cervix and otherwise get her ready for the procedure.

Only Renelique didn’t arrive in time. According to Williams and the Florida Department of Health, she went into labor and delivered a live baby girl.

What Williams and the Health Department say happened next has shocked people on both sides of the abortion debate: One of the clinic’s owners, who has no medical license, cut the infant’s umbilical cord. Williams says the woman placed the baby in a plastic biohazard bag and threw it out.

Police recovered the decomposing remains in a cardboard box a week later after getting anonymous tips. (Source)

Let’s forget religion for a minute. When are we going to stop allowing business people to define the terms we use? When is a human being not a human being anymore? What makes a fetus non-human? If the fetus isn’t alive, is the woman carrying around a zombie in her womb? This is murder. Plain and simple. As long as the “thing” in a woman’s womb is alive… it breathes, feeds off whatever she eats, etc. — “terminating” it is killing it… murdering it. Can’t we at least grow up and admit that we have innocent blood on our hands?

Jim Geraghty reports on Barack Obama’s statement on the sanctity of human life during today’s National Prayer Breakfast:

“We know there is no God who condones the killing of an innocent human being.”

Well, great! Perhaps then President Obama would also agree that we know no God who condones the negligent killing of innocent human beings who survive abortions. Of course, Obama would have to acknowledge now that his position has changed since his days in the Illinois state legislature, when he helped protect abortionists by blocking legislation that would have required a second doctor to act on behalf of infants born alive after an abortion. God knows that those children were and are innocents, alive at birth, and left to die in abortion mills.

Wow. Now, having more than two children is going to be considered a crime? It appears that’s what some government folks in Britian are thinking… An official is issuing a call for population control because humans are over-burdening the environment. As with China, this population control idea calls for an increase in abortion (U.S. and U.K., reportedly have highest rate, respectively).

Couples who have more than two children are putting an ‘irresponsible’ burden on the environment, the Government’s leading green advisor has warned.

Jonathon Porritt called on ministers to divert money away from curing illnesses towards contraception and abortion services to limit the country’s population and help in the fight against global warming.

And he criticised fellow green campaigners for dodging the issue of population growth and its effect on the environment because it is too ‘controversial’.

It came as Catholic bishops in England and Wales lambasted environmentalism as an ideology every bit as dangerous as communism.

In a booklet, they say worshippers should be deeply sceptical of claims the green movement makes on global warming.

Mr Porritt, chair of the Sustainable Development Commission, which advises the Government on green matters, said he was due to publish a report in March calling on ministers to reduce population growth through better family planning.

‘We still have one of the highest rates of teenage pregnancies in Europe and we still have relatively high levels of pregnancies going to birth, often among women who are not convinced they want to become mothers,’ he said.

Britain’s population of 61 million is forecast to exceed 70 million by 2028. The birth rate is now at its highest for almost 30 years, largely because immigrant mothers have higher birth rates, and because teenage pregnancy rates are among the highest in Europe.

The UK’s abortion rate is already one of the highest in the western world – second only to the United States.
