While Pope Benedict XVI is currently touring HIV/AIDS-plagued Africa and causing a mess (Pope rejects condoms for Africa), folks in Israel are already in disagreement over his planned May visit to the Jewish state. The rabbi who oversees the Wailing or Western Wall, where Jewish faithful (presumably practicing) go to pray and leave their personal written prayers to GOD says Pope Benedict should not wear the cross (that usually hangs around the pope’s neck) to the Holy site (what remains of the second Temple). Also, security forces in the country are considering banning worshipers from the area during Benedict’s visit. Apparently, this rabbi has banned others from the site for the same reason… but as you can see in this photo, Pope John Paul visited the wall while wearing a cross. Read the rest of this entry »

Former “Christians” Call For ‘Debaptism’

A British man wants the Church of England to essentially expunge the baptism he received as an infant, saying he was too young to make the decision himself. Of course, the gentleman is an atheist and doesn’t believe in all that fantasy business about heaven, hell and redemption in the shed blood of Jesus the Christ.

Here’s a bit of fantasy: baptizing someone (a 6-month-old baby for example) who is unable to choose baptism automatically makes them saved and headed for heaven.

Baptism, even for those who don’t appear to give a farthing for religion, seems to have become some kind of cultural right of passage. News to atheists: GOD is thoroughly aware about how you feel about HIM, no need to rub it in.

UK Police Hunt Thugs In ‘Faith Hate’ Attack On Christian TV Minister

Apparently, some Muslims got offended with this Christian minister for putting the truth on his TV program, challenging the falsely held beliefs of Islam. As seems to be the trend with fanatics of this religion of peace, instead of properly debating the man, some Muslim punks decided to physically assault him. Read the rest of this entry »

Please remember to keep in your prayers our persecuted brothers and sisters living all around the world who are suffering because they proclaim Jesus the Christ as LORD. Many Christians can’t even say Jesus’ name in public in places like North Korea, Saudi Arabia… and even in places in Egypt, the most Christian Middle Eastern nation. Read the rest of this entry »

Archbishop: Christians Falling Under Global Campaign Of ‘Bullying & Intimidation’

mouth_gaggedThis isn’t really news (I hope!) that Christians in the West are being pushed farther and farther into a corner and from the public square because of our narrow-minded views on life, sexual morality and our unwavering stance of Sola Scriptura. However, we must keep the discourse going on this issue while we still have the freedom to speak out. Read the rest of this entry »
