I have never heard of Mr. David Wilkerson (perhaps I’m too young), but I was quite surprised to see his post on some sort of impending doom he says was revealed to him by the Holy Spirit linked to on Matt Drudge’s Drudgereport.com. Also, a sister whom I respect very much and have tested and found true also highlights his post, so I will share. It is up to readers to test what “thus saith the LORD.”

WP-Bible plugin, David warns, “Upon the wicked he will rain snares (coals of fire)…fire…burning wind…will be the portion of their cup.” Why? David answered, “Because the Lord is righteous” (v. 7). This is a righteous judgment-just as in the judgments of Sodom and in Noah’s generation.

I know that Wilkerson did many great things.
But I also know of some things he prophesied and something else happened. We should hear what he says, but at the same time be very careful about it.

JF, I completely agree that we should carefully examine/test EVERYTHING. And quite honestly, what Wilkerson says is prophecy should be common knowledge for many Christians by now… if we’ve been reading the Holy Bible. The world as we now know it doesn’t end on a “happy note” per se… it ends in famine, pestilence, a major falling away of those claiming to know Jesus the Christ, etc. We can all see that the economy sucks, so our habits should be more frugal and we should be stocking up in case the economy gets even worse… some of just have to look “across the pond” to see that happening already.
Take heed to the warning. The Holy Spirit should confirm this word in you and I. We should already have heard this long before this came through this wonderful Spirit filled man of God (David Wilkerson). Cant we see what is happening all around us. We need to hear the voice of the Lord ourselves. This is the last hour, the midnight hour. The darkness is all around us. Get your food supply together, but be ready to give to others. This is the true gospel, to care for others. Dont be unwise, Get ready for the Lord is coming!!
Hello, Danelle. I agree with you — whatever is brewing, the LORD will reveal to ALL of HIS people of discernment.
Pastor David always asks from the alter that listeners “do NOT simply believe him, but go to the word and to prayer for the truth!” Many of his visions HAVE come to pass as the secular press admits ( http://letscompare.blogspot.com/ ) and I am sure many more will come to pass. But the need here is to prepare your hearts, minds, and lives for what is coming…..go into the prayer closet and seek your own answers. Blessings to all who search and those who have yet to know the truth.
