I guess this is what happens when you read about this self-proclaimed false prophet’s coming out party and a titillating article about his possible connection to Pastor Rick Warren and then some serious background info on this demon.

I am speaking about this Maitreya character, a very real unclean spirit and his enslaved followers (self-delusion and the avid eating of “unclean food” will do that). I first heard about this deceptive spirit some months ago in Warren Smith’s “Reinventing Jesus Christ” (a free read). This character supposedly appeared in public knowingly in Africa somewhere a couple decades ago — so his people claim. Anyway, according to this weird press release published in the formerly respectable WSJ, he is about to make another public emergence, in a TV interview of all things on a high-profile network. The thing is, though, he will be presented by a different name (the deception might not work otherwise) and he thinks he’s GOD’s gift to the planet — and he thinks he’s GOD, too (sounds like Lucifer in Isaiah 14:12-21Isaiah 14:12-21

This demonic spirit, under the guise of peace by any means necessary (“share or die,” he apparently has said) wants to present himself as “the one we have all been waiting for” to folks of every religion… and (if it even makes any sense) to those who quote unquote don’t do religion. But getting unbelievers to believe won’t be a problem, because this unclean spirit is all-inclusive — he supposedly doesn’t want you to worship him (although he’s presenting himself as a christ and GOD). But his whole thing is peace:

Men must share or die.” (No. 135) “Once again, I repeat: without sharing and justice, my brothers and sisters, man will know no peace… Take, then, the only open course and trust in sharing to relieve the agony of the world… Know, then, the joys of brotherhood. While reading the posts I mentioned in the beginning, the wheel started spinning… I considered “plan,” the concept of “share or die” and the “Principle of Sharing” and I couldn’t help but think of Pastor Rick Warren and his P.E.A.C.E PLAN. Is this the same plan this demon says his disciples are implementing? Seriously, how many interfaith nonsense groups are there out there looking to be yoked together (no matter if you serve the ONE TRUE GOD, Jesus Christ of Nazareth or not) despite it all (“it” being religion, sexuality, race, politics, etc.) for the sake of peace. They have this funny idea that if we all join together to… I don’t know, end poverty and AIDS that we can usher in an age of true global peace (although Christ Jesus is the only ONE who can and will establish Eternal Peace and Christ Jesus says the poor will be with us ALWAYS). This idiot (but he’s so clever, isn’t he? — giving mankind exactly what we want, the building up of our ego) even says he’s the Prince of Peace. But isn’t he claiming to be the Christ? — Yes, he is. But he clearly is not Jesus Christ of Nazareth — whose nature and work is explained quite clearly in the Holy Bible — THE ONLY SOURCE we have on HIM. I repeat, the HOLY BIBLE is the ONLY SOURCE we have on GOD the FATHER, GOD the SON and GOD the Holy Spirit. The Holy Bible is the infallible WORD of the LIVING GOD. In it, the Holy Spirit speaks, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”

This means, Jesus Christ of Nazareth (not of the Himalayas or of London, let him who hears understand) does not lie, change HIS mind and HE is totally incapable of denying HIMSELF. In the Book of Matthew HE told HIS disciples that HE will return in such a way that the whole world will see HIM at once (not via television; Matthew 24:29-31Matthew 24:29-31

WP-Bible plugin) — HE will come in the clouds (not on a plane) and EVERYONE will know that HE IS LORD and confess it with their mouth and bow to HIM — no one will be forced or killed if they don’t acknowledge HIM (nonetheless, everyone will face judgment for their works or lack of it) — there will be no “share or die” nonsense coming from HIS mouth. Jesus Christ of Nazareth says we need HIM to be saved — HE says nothing about us being able to save ourselves. And HE most certainly made it clear that Salvation doesn’t come from doing good deeds (like feeding the poor and giving them healthcare), good deeds is just one of the results of being saved.

Everything this Maitreya idiot says and claims is opposite to what Christ Jesus taught and explained — and to what HIS angels also explained (how HE will return; Acts 1-11). This Maitreya demon essentially says those who don’t accept him will have to be got rid of. When Jesus returns it will be impossible to deny HIM — no one will even have to be told that, “Look, there’s Jesus.” The blind, deaf and dumb won’t need any assistance either at this moment. Remember that, if someone has to threaten you in order for you to accept him… um, there’s a problem.

Now that the Holy Spirit has said HIS peace, this is what I mean by the title of this post.

This peace plan the unclean spirit Maitreya speaks of his disciples implementing already is awfully similar to what these interfaith and let’s-get-over-our-differences groups are doing as we speak. Especially, Pastor Rick Warren and his P.E.A.C.E Plan.

Incidentally, Rick Warren has been invited by President-elect Barack Obama to say the opening prayer at his inauguration on January 20 (01-20-08). If you had been paying the slightest attention to campaign 2008, you may be familiar with Mr. Obama’s ideas… like about joining together to usher in some kind of “kingdom on earth.” He said it.

Obama said he was pleased that leaders in the evangelical community such as T.D. Jakes and Rick Warren were beginning to discuss social justice issues like AIDS and poverty in ways evangelicals were not doing before.

“I think that’s a healthy thing, that we’re not putting people in boxes, that everybody is out there trying to figure out how do we live right and how do we create a stronger America,” Obama said.

He finished his brief remarks by saying, “We’re going to keep on praising together. I am confident that we can create a Kingdom right here on Earth.”

I’d like to know who or what he was imploring the congregation which he was addressing to “keep on praising…?” And must I really delve into Mr. Obama’s belief “that we can create a Kingdom right here on Earth.” No, we can’t.

Which brings me to Mr. Obama’s mantra — “Yes, we can.” And in Spanish, too… You know that mantra and this man’s “positive attitude” have people believing they can do anything (like suddenly run for Senate with absolutely no prior experience)… or don’t have to do some things (like pay their bills, see this video).

But that’s a little besides the point. Can you recall how Mr. Obama was touted as a messiah… even by the Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan… who then went on to say Obama draws a “oneness of spirit” from all people and may be the frontrunner to the Messiah (here).

So, we have a president, touted as the Messiah or the frontrunner to the Messiah, who doesn’t know Jesus Christ of Nazareth, who believes “we are the ones we have been waiting for (a quote perhaps from this poem)” to usher in a “Kingdom on Earth (Obama’s very own words)”. Mr. Obama has chosen Pastor Rick Warren to pray at his inauguration — the same pastor whose P.E.A.C.E Plan sounds eerily similar to the demon Maitreya’s so-called plan — Warren apparently believes what this unclean spirit preaches anyway when it comes to solving the world’s social ills. This false prophet is supposedly going to appear on national TV on a major network to be interviewed sometime between now and early next year. Obam’s inauguration is Jan. 20. And, if I haven’t properly presented the coincidences, here is what one of Maitreya’s slaves said years ago about his future TV appearance (which is perhaps the one touted in the Wall Street Journal):

We are told, At the earliest possible moment, Maitreya will demonstrate His true identity. On the Day of Declaration, the international television networks will be linked together, and Maitreya will be invited to speak to the world.

We will see His face on television, but each of us will hear His words telepathically in our own language as Maitreya simultaneously impresses the minds of all humanity. Even those who are not watching Him on television will have this experience. On this Day, humanity’s shared experience of His profound love will cause hundreds of thousands of spontaneous healings to take place throughout the world.

“He has been invited by one of the major networks in this country, one of the big 4 and he will appear they have an arrangement that when he gives the time he can appear within a few days. And he has simply been waiting for an even the predicted in 1988 with a whole series of predictions one by one which have come true and this one is of a world stock market crash which he said would begin in Japan. “

“He is waiting for that same collapse in the east takes place in the west and when it obvious that its going to do so he will take the invitation to speak on this nature. A major American television network has requested an interview with Maitreya, and He has accepted the offer. The interview will take place a time of Maitreya’s choosing, as yet unannounced. Its time to be prepared, for anything can occur as we are now deep in the time of deception. He’s at the door, look up our redemption is coming, the tribulation comes for those who reject the Christian message of Christ, but the hope of the true Jesus is there for the Christian. (Source)

And finally, consider that analog TV is now going out the door — it is mandatory to upgrade to digital TV if you plan on watching TV at all. The government is even so nice as to offer a free voucher to help cover the expenses of “switching” to digital: On February 17, 2009 all full-power broadcast television stations in the United States will stop broadcasting on analog airwaves and begin broadcasting only in digital. Digital broadcasting will allow stations to offer improved picture and sound quality and additional channels. (The Digital TV Transition)

Yes, yes. Perhaps I’m going a bit too far with that last point there, but it’s worth considering nonetheless. We live in a time many people thought would never come — global economic depression. The so-called rich and the we’ve-always-been-here poor are both affected. There is spiritual confusion, sexual confusion and what looks like starvation on the horizon. The moment is ripe for an answer to people’s “hope” and “dreams” to suddenly appear… like some kind of miracle.

Anyway, I’m going to stay looking up… past the airplanes (Jesus Christ of Nazareth isn’t coming on one of those). I’m going to keep reading the Holy Bible, it tells me absolutely all I need to know about my LORD and SAVIOR and what the future holds. I’m going to keep praying daily and seeking the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY’s face … there will be no chanting involved and it certainly will not be a “prayer that I tell myself (a quote from Mr. Obama).” And, while I am still able, I’m going to assemble together with the Saints often, talk about my Jesus and proclaim HIS HOLY NAME — whether my words fall on deaf ears or receptive hearts.

And let me tell you one final thing, no matter what comes, GOD ALMIGHTY is in control. Satan has no power and can do nothing other than what GOD the FATHER allows (consider HIS servant Job). It is even GOD who sends the strong delusion (2 Thessalonians 2:10-122 Thessalonians 2:10-12

Update (12/31/08): I was taking a look at Warren Smiths’ “Reinventing Jesus’ manuscript and came across this in one of us his updates (which was written a couple years ago) –

Softening up Christians

In a question and answer page posted on the Share International website, Benjamin Creme explains that the spirit of his “Christ” is presently working within the various denominations of the Christian church to “soften them up.” He would contend that Maitreya has been the unseen “change agent” working through Christian leaders to transform the church as it slowly transitions into the New Spirituality. He would argue that this purposeful “softening up” process includes the use of language and ideas that overlap with his New Age “Christ” and their New Gospel/New Spirituality-terms in common like “servant leader,” “Master Jesus,” and “new reformation.” Creme would be the first one to point out that Rick Warren’s “Global Peace Plan” and “New Reformation” are almost carbon copies of what Maitreya has already been describing for years. Creme is obviously pleased with all of the changes that are taking place within a seemingly orthodox Christianity. He describes those who resist these changes and those who resist his New Age “Christ” as “fundamentalists.” But, when questioned, he confidently states that on Maitreya’s “Day of Declaration” a powerful, supernatural “pentecostal” experience will persuade even the “fundamentalist Christians” that Maitreya is “Christ.”

And here’s another bit that appears in the “Update” on Maitreya:

Creme talks openly of Maitreya’s plan to bring love and peace to the planet through “world service” to the “have not” peoples of the Earth. Creme claims that many of the positive social, political and economic developments that have taken place over the last two decades have been inspired by Maitreya.
