I was not surprised to see this item, but still very much disappointed that such a high-profile man calls himself a Christian but yet does not know the LORD our GOD. His viewpoints are not new, either, he’s said many “interesting” things before concerning his faith… including seeing GOD in Pope Benedict XVI’s eyes. … Perhaps if he weren’t so busy bowing to the pope and fighting to kiss his ring, he would have more time to learn about the ONE TRUE GOD — LORD and SAVIOR Jesus Christ.

Just a couple of reminders here: this is the same president who not only saw Vladimir Putin’s “soul” when he looked into his eyes, but also says he “sees GOD” when he looks into Pope Benedict XVI’s eyes; even though he says he believes people of different faiths pray to the same GOD, he also says there are many paths to heaven (why would one GOD convolute things?); and he’s always been very articulate about expressing his faith.

Excerpt:

Interviewer Cynthia McFadden asked Bush if the Bible was literally true.

“You know. Probably not. … No, I’m not a literalist, but I think you can learn a lot from it, but I do think that the New Testament for example is … has got … You know, the important lesson is ‘God sent a son,’” Bush said.

“It is hard for me to justify or prove the mystery of the Almighty in my life,” he said. “All I can just tell you is that I got back into religion and I quit drinking shortly thereafter and I asked for help. … I was a one-step program guy.

… The president also said that he prays to the same God as those with different religious beliefs.

“I do believe there is an almighty that is broad and big enough and loving enough that can encompass a lot of people,” Bush said. (Source)

As for the evolution thing, I wouldn’t read into Bush’s statements on that too closely — because it sure enough appears he may have “forgotten” what the theory of evolution is.

According to Bush: 1. The Bible is not literally true; 2. HE’s not sure of the presence of GOD in his life; 3. Religion may beat a 12-step AA program; 3. Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Christians, Hindus, Sikhs, etc. all pray to the same GOD; 4. There is “an almighty” (I still can’t figure out that mysterious term).

And President Bush insists he’s Christian… like admited homosexual Clay Aiken claims he’s a born-again Christian. LORD, we need a knew term, please. This one the enemy has stolen and is dragging through the mud.

I would like to see some of those pastors that scream Bush is a born again Christian and so on for He has shown them what he is all about now
Keep up the good work sis
