Re. the “casting stones” – I can’t help but be amused when non-Christians try to quote the Bible back to us. They usually take it horribly out of context and miss the irony. The woman caught in adultery passage ends with Jesus saying, “Go and sin no more.”

And the sign saying Jesus would “accept us all” could only come from someone who hasn’t read the Bible.

How is it that those submerged in a sinful “lifestyle” only knows the scriptures to regurgitate back in folk’s face, but not the ones that condemn their choices?!

Oh sure, don’t cast those stones and don’t judge… but yet in 1 Corinthians we read, “a spiritual man judges all things.” Get that! Pastor Jeffress was CAREFUL about his message. He didn’t judge the people, who were given a mode out of sin and into the arms of Jesus. He did – however – judge rocking with gays as a THING God abhors.

Well written. There is only one way to be born – the way God made us. From day one, choices are left up to us. We are creatures of our environment, and if that environment is full of abuse, parents with heinous choices or worse, then expect those “things” to take place.

God still loves and will accept anyone as they are. I have homosexual people in my life – folk I call friends. They know where I stand, and likewise, however there is no judgment of THEM… only their actions, of which will be judged heavily.

@ Lori – You’re totally right and, honestly, I just can’t figure it out except to say that folks who think they have to live in sin are just deceived…and it appears many do prefer the darkness to the light.

Thank you LaVrai for posting this. I just cringe when people say they were born gay ~ what a lie from hell. And I can’t understand why they (homosexuals) are so ready to say we (Christians) hate them. Why can’t they just pick up a Bible and look for themselves? We are just saying what God is saying to us.

But again, Jesus told us the world will hate us because it hated Him. Because he exposed their sin to the light, and they want to stay in darkness.
