I discovered the Rev. Voddie Baucham a few months ago when I came across an excerpt of one of his sermons in which he commented on the “if GOD is so good…” question some folks who don’t know the LORD often ask.
Anyway, Mr. Baucham has a new post on his blog about the homosexual marriage debate, and he makes some excellent points!
Here are just three of them:
- (The idea that gay marriage is about love) The first problem with this argument is the fact that it is a logical absurdity. There are many people whom I love, and I cannot marry most of them.
- Homosexuals have always had the same access to marriage heterosexuals have. Moreover, homosexuals have been getting married in this country for centuries.
- Homosexuals are not asking for equality in marriage (they have that), they are asking for a redefinition of marriage.
