But you ask a lot of good questions, Vee. And I seriously don’t know what to say about them. I think there are some cases where people who feel that they are gay can point back to some type of abuse in their past. I think some people, too, just find homosexuality as an “option” if you will (I’ve heard people talk like that, and as the Holy Bible seems to show). Others could just also have some serious psychological issues with trusting the opposite sex — who knows. I do also believe that seducing spirits do play a part, and that not all of our ills are purely in the physical, if that makes sense.

Bottom line, like you said, we all need to cry out to Jesus Christ of Nazareth for healing — as the elders like to say, HE is the Great Physician and only HE can make us whole. Nothing is too hard or impossible for Christ Jesus.

I have recently had an issue with an old friend who came out about two years ago. She left her husband to be with her girlfriend. The family dynamics changed massively and I just couldn’t agree with her and basically said that I couldn’t go against what the bible says about this matter. I said this as lovingly as possible and told her that I would always love her.

She of course said that there were plenty of bible verses that talk about adultery as a sin that is punishable too. That seemed strange to me… in that statement she is admitting then that homosexuality is a sin alone with adultery?

Then she went on to say that she knew she was attracted to the same sex since around five years old. That seemed strange to me also… should a five year old even have those types of feelings toward any sex? I didn’t even know what sex was at that age. How can they say that they thought that they were different from such a young age. It makes me wonder if something sexual was stirred up in them by an adult, what do you think?

If children have been sexually stirred at such a young age [actually my friend was sexually abused by a family member - a man] I wonder if this sexual awakening through abuse counts for most of the homosexuality we see?

It if is, then these people are in dire need of healing because they have been broken. Only the biblical Jesus [note that I say biblical] can heal their wounds.
