Also, in terms of this counterfeit coming of 'Christ,' we should also be aware that Jesus Christ said he would be coming from above with his angels, i.e., heaven (Matthew 24:30): [Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.] I don't believe the LORD was using metaphoric language -- HE will actually come from heaven since that is where HE ascended to after leaving after his resurrection. That is one empirical distinction -- Jesus Christ will be coming from up on high; Satan's Anti-Christ will be coming from some place on the earth. We will all see Jesus Christ coming at the very same time. Outside of the issue of the final anti-Christ who will be possessed by Satan, we must remain mindful that although the Devil is not omnipresent, there are myriads of demons and unclean spirits (fallen angels, etc.) who could perhaps fool people into thinking they are seeing the same 'person' in different places. With this thought in mind, it brings new meaning to Matt 24:23 23At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it. Satan is not omnipresent.
