Satan is a very talented liar and manipulator and can be quite relentless in his pursuits, the primary of which are destroying your soul and destroying the earth. He can take on many guises but his “footprints” always appear the same, because there is one thing Satan has been trying to accomplish since mankind was created. And he’s been using the same lie he told Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden repeatedly, even up to this very day. His goal has never changed, he has only shifted his tactic a bit and will approach anyone who gives him the slightest consideration.

Signs & Wonders & The Occult
I know for a fact, based on the testimony of one very repentant individual, that there is no such things as ‘dabbling’ in this or that. When you start ‘dabbling’ in the occult (which includes everything like astrology, ‘white’ magic, the ouija board, etc.), you might as well be throwing a window or door wide open for anyone without to just waltz right in. As the Holy Bible states, …Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour (1 Peter 5:81 Peter 5:8

Christians do not need to consult astrologers or psychics or play with ouija boards. Christians don’t need to ‘meditate’ or ’soak’ in anything. You cannot “channel” GOD. There is a grave difference between meditating on GOD’s word and sitting in silence ‘emptying’ your mind and trying to listen out for angels or spirits trying to make contact with you. There is no need to get into a trance to walk with GOD.
If you want to be close with GOD, read HIS word, sing HIM praises and obey HIS statutes.
GOD doesn’t need for you to sit or stand stark still or be unconscious or in some altered mind state to speak with you. The Holy Spirit speaks with you anytime, anywhere under any condition. Just because HE is referred to as that “still, small voice” it doesn’t mean you can’t hear HIM over the din.
When you go after these things, is it the LORD you are seeking, or are you seeking to feel and experience something? Why do you need a sign? Why can’t your faith in the LORD be enough? If you don’t see angels or hear voices or get miraculously healed or prophesy or speak in tongues, are you saying that makes GOD a fraud?

But since you so disparately want to delight in signs and wonders, Satan will give them to you. He’ll give you gold teeth and jewels (source). He’ll send your body flailing all over the place, too, so you can know for sure that this is a ‘divine’ experience. He’ll send you ‘angels’ for your spirit guides and he’ll show you ‘heaven.’ And in the end you’ll praise GOD…and not bother to question the point of all of these ‘miraculous’ signs and wonders. But I refrain, lest anyone should think of me above what he sees me to be or hears from me. 7And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. 8 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. 9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”

Satan hates GOD, so he hates anyone who is of GOD. The minute you pick up the Cross and decide to follow Jesus the Christ, you are on Satan’s radar and he will come against you. He will tempt you to try and get you to go back to doing the sinful things you’ve left behind. He will try and exploit every and any weakness you have. He will even accuse you before the LORD. All of this to keep you from GOD’s promise of eternal bliss, to make sure you end up damned as he has already been.
Most Christians know about Job’s story. Job was such a humble and righteous servant who loved the LORD GOD with all his heart, as proved by his obedience and the blessings GOD bestowed upon him. So of course the Devil wanted nothing more than to tear this righteous servant away from GOD. He brought an accusation against Job, insisting that the man was only faithful to the LORD because of all HE had blessed him with. GOD knew Job’s heart so HE allowed Satan to test him. Job lost all that he had, including all of his children, and developed a sickness. He did indeed become angry with GOD, but he did not curse HIM. Job was more confused than anything. He only questioned why he, such an upright servant, should be cursed so by the LORD. This experience taught Job a few things, such as patience and long suffering and humility. He also learned more about his LORD. So Job proved Satan wrong — that GOD’s people love HIM not just because of what HE has given them, but because HE is a good and righteous GOD, who loved us first. At the end, GOD blessed Job with even more than he had in the beginning, including more children.

Tactics Satan Uses To Attack Us
Satan knows our weaknesses — that we are obsessed with the cares of this world and this temporary, earthly life. We want fame, wealth, attention, pleasure and everything the mind and heart can conceive of, and many of us are slaves to these desires.

As all Christians know, Satan even tried to pry Jesus Christ away from serving THE FATHER, our CREATOR GOD ALMIGHTY. But Christ Jesus gave the great liar the truth. Consider the three things Satan offered Christ Jesus when he tempted him.

5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

1 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. 3 Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” 4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”
Jesus had been fasting for 40 days and 40 nights and the Holy Bible passage says HE was hungry. So how did Satan try to manipulate HIM? He peddled to the flesh and offered temporary satisfaction. What truth did Jesus state? The LORD said quite plainly that the desires and needs of the temporary, corruptible flesh, the human body, do not sustain the incorruptible, everlasting soul, and only GOD OUR FATHER gives us what nourishes the everlasting soul.
5 Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, 6 and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written: ‘ He shall give His angels charge over you,’ and, ‘ In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.’” 7 Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the LORD your God.’”
Satan took Jesus to the holy city and placed him on the pinnacle of the temple, and QUOTED SCRIPTURE TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST (take note of that folks — Satan knows the Holy Words of GOD, and corrupts it at whim!). Satan tempted Jesus to jump from what was probably the highest point in all of Jerusalem (I believe ‘the holy city’ is Jerusalem). Did Satan really believe angels would catch Jesus if he flung himself down from the highest point in all of Jerusalem? Or was he hoping that Jesus would kill himself before the holy temple? If Satan knows the Scriptures then he must also surely know that Jesus Christ is GOD HIMSELF and has power to save HIMSELF. Either way, Jesus said GOD will not be tempted or manipulated.
8 Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.” 10 Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.’” 11 Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.
Now Satan offered to give Jesus Christ ‘all the kingdoms of the world.’ How could Satan offer anyone, especially the Son of the LIVING GOD, ALL THE KINGDOMS OF THE WORLD? Because Satan is lord of the world:

And what did Satan want from Christ Jesus in exchange for all those earthly possessions he would have supposedly given HIM? Satan wanted Christ Jesus to bow down and worship him. Jesus told him only GOD ALMIGHTY is worthy of praise and worship. Note also that Christ Jesus said ‘the LORD your GOD.’ Perhaps HE was reminding Satan that he in no way compares to the power and majesty of GOD, for the creation is never greater than or even equal to the CREATOR.
This goes right back to the Garden of Eden and what Satan successfully tempted Eve into believing — that the creation can be equal to that of its CREATOR. Let me make it clear: there is no one on the earth or in heaven who is like the LORD GOD Jehovah/YHWH. The LORD our GOD is ONE and there is none besides HIM (previous post).
The Great Lie Exposed
What happened in the Garden of Eden? Like Job, Adam and Eve were obeying GOD, who had instructed them not to eat of a particular fruit of a particular tree in the Garden.
Satan called GOD a liar and told Eve ALMIGHTY GOD only wanted to keep her from being a god, too. Unfortunately, Eve liked the sound of that. She did not defend GOD by telling the Devil that THE FATHER could not lie. In fact, Eve didn’t even question the Devil, who apparently was very good with words. Eve believed the lie Satan told her and began to lust after the supposed ‘power’ it would give her.

What did Adam and Eve gain after eating the fruit, which was in disobedience to GOD’s word? They gained shame and the wrath of GOD, lost out on eternal life in paradise and were promised to know firsthand the weight of sorrow and pain.
I want to say the fruit was a gateway drug, for it led Adam and Eve down a very turbulent road (for through their son murder entered the world). But neither the tree nor the fruit are harmful. Adam and Eve sinned and suffered because they could not be patient and wait on the LORD (Revelation 2:7Revelation 2:7

The Devil may be able to offer you power, a pile of money, big houses, fancy cars and the admiration of many, but what good are those things really? Why is it not good enough to have all that you need and live a good life? Why must we have excess? Do material possessions and public stature bring true peace or happiness? You only live once, they say. I say nay — you live twice! There is this life here on earth in a physical body, and once the breath of life leaves it, the body wastes away and the spirit that inhabited that body begins a second existence, which is eternal. This existence can only be in one of two places — in eternal bliss with the LORD Jesus Christ or in eternal damnation with the liar the Devil.
Imagine, the same old dragon who promises men and women everything they could possibly ever desire upon earth as if he were some god ends up right next to these unrepentant sinners in the lake of fire that is never quenched. Think on it — an eternal death. You don’t just ‘die’ and become unfeeling, unseeing, etc. You are in a perpetual state of dying, suffering and pain. Do you think all these earthly desires of yours are worth infinity in hell with Satan, who too will be brought low?

There is this movie from the 80s about a young boy who stumbles upon a tiny magical statue. He soon learns that based on certain, simple conditions this magical statue can grant him just about anything his heart desires. If he wanted a Big Mac, this magical item would make it happen. If he wanted a pot of gold, the magical item would get him that, too. As it turns out, this young boy wanted a pot of gold. Imagine the boy’s delight (and arrogance) when he finds that this magical item has given him this pot of gold! Not only is he now rich, but he has a special thing no one else has. He has an advantage over others, making him a bit of a god in his own mind.
Unfortunately for the boy, it is soon revealed that this magical item is actually a living being in disguise and was plying him the whole time until it was possible to reveal itself. It also turned out in this movie that every thing the boy had wished for turned into doo-doo. The luster and facade eventually faded from everything the boy had wished for and was revealed to be literally doo-doo. The pot of gold was actually a pot of steaming pooh. Imagine the boy’s disdain — not only was he betrayed by this magic, but it turns out everything he thought he had attained were only worthless illusions. And, of course, this living being eventually turned on him and tried to kill him once he no longer needed him.
So it will be with those who cavort with the Devil. Satan doesn’t love us, he doesn’t even like us. He despises us and accuses us continually before the LORD, seeking our damnation and destruction — a fate he himself has already been bound to.
Beware The New Age, The New Gospel And ‘The Great Outpouring’
Satan is bringing his egotistical gospel — birthed and fostered among the new age demons — into the Church. Operating under a totally opposite guise — that we should all be looking after and helping out each other to make the world a better place — Satan has fooled many of us into thinking that we can save the world and ourselves. Yes, we are our brothers’ keepers, but we cannot of ourselves “save the planet” or humanity.
Satan’s new age mantra says nothing about looking upward our away from yourself for salvation. Instead these teachings want men to believe that salvation lies within themselves, and that they, too, are gods, or ‘little gods’ as many calling themselves preachers tell their congregations (video). It is the same thing Satan tried to teach Eve in the Garden of Eden. Now he successfully has those in the Church believing it right along with his new age church. But their place will be outside the Church when the time comes.

If you hear Christians in church declaring that they are a ‘little gods’ or claiming to be one with Christ Jesus (there is a difference between aligning yourself with Christ Jesus and claiming that you are a part of the Godhead)… and you hear people who don’t even believe in Christ Jesus saying the same things — doesn’t it give you pause when you hear and see one who is supposedly saved and one who is still by Christian standards a sinner both declaring and clinging to the same beliefs?

19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

11Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Christians Fall For Satan’s Tricks Everyday
Do not be deceived and do not underestimate Satan. Don’t believe that because you are a Christian you are safe from the Devil’s traps. I am not talking about ’simple’ temptations we face everyday. I am talking about elaborate, crafty, mesmerizing deceptions that seem so genuine and good, one would believe that they must be coming from the Throne of GOD. If he knows and quotes scripture to the LORD Jesus Christ, he must be well versed in the words of the Holy Bible and knows how to omit certain portions and twist certain portions to suit his agenda — which is always to deceive and ultimately destroy you.
He also has power, not just to manipulate and weave elaborate tales and lies, but he can actually do ‘miracles’ and perform ’signs and wonders’ that resemble miracles and signs that could come from GOD. Take special note that the LORD Jesus Christ says even the elect (the Christian Church) will be deceived on account of these ‘great signs and wonders.’
(Matthew 24:23-25Matthew 24:23-25
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.

23 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. 24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand.

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. withholdeth: or, holdeth
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Christians are like everyone else, as all of us should be able to admit. Even after we pick up the Cross and begin our walk with Jesus Christ, we are still susceptible to the things of this world. We face sexual temptations, the desire for wealth and power and glory. Many of us get sidetracked. Some of us stop believing that GOD is good enough alone. We start focusing on the spectacular, magical things (like miracles and ’spiritual gifts’) and begin putting the ONE from which blessings come onto the sidelines. We become disillusioned, and many of us who find these illusions to be more pleasing, willfully chase after them.
And there are many vipers, who willingly and unwittingly serve Satan, who call themselves preachers and teachers of GOD. They speak from the pulpit and many of us take their words as gold, failing to check them against the only true source we have — the Holy Bible.
Do not believe the lies and fairytales portrayed in Hollywood movies — Satan is not afraid to enter a church. Satan, after his rebellion, still approached GOD (as read in Job). He talked with Jesus Christ face-to-face, as we read earlier in this post. If Satan can go before GOD ALMIGHTY and speak to Jesus Christ face-to-face, what makes you think that he would be afraid to enter among Christians? You are not protected because you wear a crucifix or hold the Holy Bible in your hand. A Christian’s faith does not lie in these things. There is no power in a gold crucifix hanging from your neck. There is no power in a leather-bound Holy Bible. The power is in the WORD of GOD, which tells us THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. That is the only weapon we have against Satan, for even demons must submit to Jesus the Christ.

30 And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.

13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.
14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.
15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?

13. Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, “We exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches.” 14 Also there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so. 15 And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?” 16 Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.
Do not give into the temptations and tricks of the great liar, Satan. Do not turn away from GOD ALMIGHTY and HIS Son Christ Jesus. Do not put down the Holy Bible for another book, for it is the only true WORD of GOD. Do not become distracted with signs and wonders. Do not put your faith in the words of any man, woman or child, but trust in the LORD GOD JEHOVAH/YHWH. There is a battle for your soul and the coming time of GOD’s judgment will test your faith, for things that have never happened in the world before will take place. It will be so bad that some of us will even try to commit suicide to escape them. The only guarantee you have of avoiding eternal fire is by clinging to Christ Jesus, and no one who belongs to Jesus Christ will ever be taken away from him.

1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.
8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. sanctified...: or, truly sanctified
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
