I don’t know about you, but I used to wonder about this? I always had the impression that the saints would be in heaven just singing and praising GOD continually…not that I don’t love praise and worship…but FOR ETERNITY?
As time went along, however, and I started reading and re-reading the Holy Bible and understanding it better, I realized that new heaven will be on new earth…or rather this new heaven will come down to a new earth. The LORD Jesus Christ will be dwelling among us and there will be no contrary spirits…the enemy and all who serve him will be cast out for eternity.
If it will literally be heaven on earth, I don’t see why it won’t be like ‘life as usual,’ except we will be living as GOD commands us, so there will be no ‘symptoms’ of man’s sin, like death, illness, crime, etc. I don’t see why children won’t still be educated and go to ‘schools.’ Or people won’t farm and rear animals…although we won’t need to eat or drink. How about riding bikes, horses, going skiing — why isn’t it possible that these things will still be? Anyway, these are just my thoughts. Whatever GOD does have in store, rest assured, it will not be boring. When has the ALMIGHTY Creator ever been boring
