This is an old article, from 2005, in which: THE hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church has published a teaching document instructing the faithful that some parts of the Bible are not actually true…

If one denies that the Bible is the Word of GOD, then one is denying GOD ALMIGHTY, too. You cannot pick and choose which parts of the Bible you’re going to stick with because other parts of it make you uncomfortable. And to think, the Catholic Church is still trying to “edit” the Bible and have people believe in lies. These ridiculous people running the Roman Catholic Church (a Babylonian harlot, by the way) want people to stop believing the account of creation in Genesis and the account in Revelation dealing with the rise of the anti-Christ and Satan’s final destruction. How convenient — both the beginning and the end.

The Catholic bishops of England, Wales and Scotland are warning their five million worshippers, as well as any others drawn to the study of scripture, that they should not expect “total accuracy” from the Bible. They say the Church must offer the gospel in ways “appropriate to changing times, intelligible and attractive to our contemporaries”.

…As examples of passages not to be taken literally, the bishops cite the early chapters of Genesis, comparing them with early creation legends from other cultures, especially from the ancient East. The bishops say it is clear that the primary purpose of these chapters was to provide religious teaching and that they could not be described as historical writing.

Similarly, they refute the apocalyptic prophecies of Revelation, the last book of the Christian Bible, in which the writer describes the work of the risen Jesus, the death of the Beast and the wedding feast of Christ the Lamb.

The bishops say: “Such symbolic language must be respected for what it is, and is not to be interpreted literally. We should not expect to discover in this book details about the end of the world, about how many will be saved and about when the end will come.”

Look at how many people practice Catholicism? And since when does the Word of GOD have to be attractive? Exactly who is the Catholic Church trying to attract — the entire world? Last I heard, the entire world won’t be saved. I am not even surprised they want followers to doubt the fall of the Devil…it’s like almost telling them the Devil isn’t real. And the Book of Revelation is false (as then Daniel would be, too), then what exactly is the fate of this world, dear leaders of the Roman Catholic Church? Who benefits if the world doubts the realness of the Devil?

As for the photos… I know you can’t judge a book by it’s cover, but… just look at him in the one above! As for the on the left, why does it seem the pope is worshiped as a god? He’s arrayed in fine apparel, scarlet, purple and gold…and sits on a throne, has people bow before him and even kiss his ring… something is just really wrong here.
